I specialize in working with individuals and couples with learning differences on managing workplace challenges, relationships, and the of complexity of everyday life, while also providing skills for managing the anxiety and other intense emotions that accompany these everyday challenges. I have also earned a certificate in psychodynamic psychotherapy from the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, and I have also graduated from an intensive couples and family therapy training program at the Ackerman Institute for the Family. I am in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, and my session fees range from $80 to $175 for a fifty minute session. I am a fluent Spanish speaker who is happy to conduct sessions in either Spanish or English.
My initial interest in psychotherapy stems from direct international experience providing trauma relief to victims of the Salvadorian Civil War and Chilean dictatorship. I have also been a psychotherapist in Jackson Heights, where I provided culturally competent psychotherapy to Spanish speaking clients of all ages, providing individual, couples, and family psychotherapy.
